I paint abstract and the outcome is never preconceived. I played with the colors until the piece just "felt right." I named it because of what I felt. Not what I saw. It wasn't until my first art show that someone pointed out that there are several dolphins in the painting. It was not something that I tried to do. It just happened. (note: all artwork is signed and dated on the back of the piece so it may be placed in any orientation, thus taking on a completely different look)

For me, listening and quieting my mind has been the catalyst for change and healing. I began painting as a way of working through the grief of losing a dear family friend in a tragic car accident.
