Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Listening. Really listening.... It is one of the most difficult tasks for many of us. We are so busy thinking about all the things we need to get done, what we want to say, where we have to go or where we’ve been. For me, listening and quieting my mind has been the catalyst for change and healing. I began painting as a way of working through the grief of losing a dear family friend in a tragic car accident. From the moment my brush, laden and glistening with vibrant colors first touched the canvas, a part of my soul was opened up. I began to work through the pain by expressing my emotions with color.
